Surfing Western Australia
Empowering communities through surfing
Surfing Western Australia (Surfing WA) is dedicated to fostering participation, interest and achievement in surfing across the state. Managing events from grassroots competitions to international showcases like the Longboard Championships. Surfing WA supports all surfing disciplines, including shortboard, longboard, bodyboard and stand-up paddleboarding. Working with local board rider clubs and surf schools, they provide accessible opportunities for all ages to get involved with the sport.
Surfing WA's passion aligns with our belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the benefits of being in and around water. As key partners for 2025, we are committed to spreading this message and empowering individuals from all backgrounds to embrace the joy of surfing, connect with the ocean, and enjoy the numerous advantages that come with an active lifestyle.
Surfing Victoria
Surfing Victoria is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of surfing within the state, offering programs that cater to surfers of all ages and skill levels. A key initiative in this endeavour is the Red x WaveKilla Club, a junior development program designed to accelerate the progression of young surfers by providing exclusive coaching sessions in a controlled environment. Held at URBNSURF Melbourne, these private sessions ensure participants receive personalised instruction, fostering both skill enhancement and a deepened passion for the sport.This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to empowering the next generation of surfers, ensuring they have the tools and opportunities to thrive in and around the water.
The Red Rescue 10'6" Prone Rescue Inflatable Rescue Board has been a welcomed addition for our lifeguard and event safety teams, particularly in inland waterways and aquatic event settings. It’s lightweight and durable design allows for quick deployment, making it an essential tool for rapid response in water emergencies. Lifeguards have found it incredibly stable and buoyant, providing excellent support for both rescuer and patient during rescues. One of the standout features is its ease of use—setup takes just minutes, and packing it down is just as quick, making transport and storage effortless. Despite frequent use in various and harsh beach conditions, we have yet to encounter any issues with the board’s inflation or consistent performance. It remains a reliable, efficient, and valuable asset as part of our wider water safety operations.

Co-founder Dan Wallace leads the swim training program, with the support of his best friend of 15 years, Connor Mollison. Together, they offer unique online training programs designed to elevate swimmers at every level.
Understanding that traditional swimming lessons can be limiting and difficult to access for many, the team has developed a fresh approach that eliminates barriers and brings high-quality swimming education to anyone, anywhere.
