My way from SPORT 11.3*32 through Voyager 13.2*30 to ELITE 14*27
This is my third board from RED. The first was a sport 11.3*32 board, then there was a 13.2*30 voyager which I consider to be the best board in the touring class (at least before it was single fin.)
While sailing Voyager, I still wanted a 14 foot board from the racing class. I wanted a width of at least 26 inches, since all that is already purely a sport. And at 26-27 you can participate in races and go to marathons and just ride, even with a child on board.
I can only say the best in terms of build quality and driving performance. The board is very fast and yet very stable, allowing you to paddle with confidence both in calm water and in waves. For my time on the distance, 15 km, that I passed on the voyager, I brought 25 minutes.
The fin holds its course well and, no less important, almost does not cling to grass and debris.
What did not like on the board.
1. Not the most convenient cargo location in the bow, it is very small and close to the bow. I had to glue two rings closer to the center and the cargo became more convenient.
2. For me, it turned out that the handles for carrying the board and the sports start from the shore were not conveniently located. On the previous version of this board, the position of the handles was more convenient.
As a result, I will redo the handles as on the old version.
