Description

The 14'0" Elite is aimed at those looking to compete over longer distances. The 14'0"Elite has a tapering tail section offering fantastic stability while giving great glide. The rail risers allow you more control in choppier water, making it a great all round race board for a variety of conditions.

Raised rails allow the rider to dig their feet into the board. This will give a grounded stance meaning more energy can be channelled into each paddle stroke.

The 14'0" x 27" Elite benefits from all of the latest Red Paddle Co innovations such as our patented Rocker Stiffening System or RSS for short. This counters any flex through two stiffening battens that are inserted into pockets on the side of the board; In addition to RSS, our patented Forward Flex Control System (FFC) then adds rigidity to the front of the board using a carbon compression rod to prevent flex that can be created in a race, channeling the energy towards the back of the board which increases overall board speed. RSS and FFC work together to create the stiffest, fastest inflatable SUP's.

The board is also packed full of other features: Double nose fins aid tracking and displacing water from the deck of the board; The glass fibre centre fin supplied as standard gives the right amount of grip without adding drag, whilst the angled design prevents any debris from getting stuck on the fin; Multiple carry handles are included to provide fast entry and exit of the water and have been designed not to get in the way during racing; The diamond cut, Red embossed deck pad provides ultimate grip in control in all stages of a race. When you have finished racing the board then rolls up and fits into our amazing back pack so can be transported anywhere in the world without the risk of damage.

Introducing a total redesign of our all terrain backpack that offers a bagless carry system. This skeleton system means you can access more remote waterways without the need for a bulky bag and just take the straps and your pump. When using the bag, large all terrain wheels make handling rugged terrain a breeze and considered anthropometric design is able to be fully customised to your height so you can take maximum care of your body while under load. Large exterior pockets can fit any quick to grab essentials and velcro interior pocket means your paddle blade is safe and secure. The interior material has a stylish Red repeater pattern and its water resistance will minimise any intrusive damp. Additional internal storage for small items and keeping your service kit on hand.

Virtually Indestructible

We build things to last and are confident your board will live to stand the test of time. So confident we are we ran a 22 tonne digger over one of our boards and it lived to tell the tale.

High Spec

Every element has been painstakingly designed and developed to ensure there is no compromise in performance.

Customisable Packages

We offer a range of package options so you only need to get what you actually need.

Adventure Ready

Every board comes with an industry leading bag that has been engineered just as meticulously as our boards allowing you to explore your world.

RSS: Stiffening Up

Unique to Red Paddle Co, you won’t find our patented Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) on any other brand’s boards. RSS increases stiffness by up to 30% – which, combined with our super-solid MSL® construction at air pressures of 20psi+, makes Red inflatable paddleboards supremely rigid.

RSS battens are ultra-tough polycarbonate strips that slide into pockets in the rails as the board takes shape during early inflation. They reinforce the middle of the board, directly beneath where you stand. The system features on our Elite, Voyager and Sport ranges, plus 8'10" and 12'0" Compacts.

Essential to our high-performance ranges, RSS technology is particularly important for faster, more efficient paddling, heavier riders or choppier conditions, providing that hardboard feel. The battens are shaped for optimum stiffness and fit perfectly into their pockets, which are constructed separately before being laminated onto the boards.

Forward Flex Control (FFC)

Our patented Forward Flex Control (FFC) is a revolutionary system designed to make Red Paddle Co’s 12'6" and 14'0" Elites the stiffest inflatables on the market, ensuring a competitive edge. FFC works by preventing the nose of our iSUP raceboards from flexing, making the whole front half of the paddleboard virtually rigid.

When paired with our RSS battens on 20psi+ inflated boards, the results are seriously impressive. Reducing flex enhances power delivery and glide per stroke, boosting overall performance, efficiency and speed – most obvious during sprinting and other high-power phases or in choppier conditions, when Elites feel more like hardboards than iSUPs.

The FFC system consists of a two-part carbon rod that’s inserted into mounting points on the nose after fully inflating the board. The rod locks into an EVA deck-base in the standing area and is put under load with a tension lever. This stabilises the board’s front section, practically eliminating nose flex.

TITAN II: Less Time Pumping, More Time Paddling

As an inflatable paddleboard company, we’ve long realised how important it is to blow-up our boards as easily as possible. That’s why we developed the original Titan pump – it was a real game-changer, halving the time it took to pump up...

Since then, our commitment to constant innovation has seen us push the boundaries of inflation technology. That’s why we’re so confident that our reimagined Titan II is the best pump on the market. Quite simply, it puts air into your board faster and reaches a higher pressure with less effort.

The double-chamber Titan II has a bayonet fitting at both ends of the hose, attached directly to the airbox to reduce leaks and so it doesn’t thrash about in use. Folding feet and a removable quick-release handle reduce the size by 30% when you’re finished, making it more packable and portable.

Tec Air: Pioneering Paddle Board Design

Red Paddle Co is the only inflatable SUP brand that makes boards in its own private facility, using innovative materials and manufacturing methods to produce quality kit you won’t find elsewhere. The Tec Air process is how we refine and develop our boards.

We’ve taken standard inflatable technology and reworked almost every aspect of it. By pinpointing key areas, we’ve identified improvements – from the precise bonding of layers to the application of optimum rocker curve, triple-taped reinforced rails to our exclusive MSL® drop-stitch material, no element is overlooked.

Before going into production our designs undergo rigorous research and testing. (We’ve even run tractors and a 22.5-tonne digger over them – they were fine!) Then manufacturing each board takes 72 hours: that’s ten times the industry average. Unlike most other paddleboard companies, we never compromise on quality. It’s this unique Tec Air process that sets us apart.

My way from SPORT 11.3*32 through Voyager 13.2*30 to ELITE 14*27

This is my third board from RED. The first was a sport 11.3*32 board, then there was a 13.2*30 voyager which I consider to be the best board in the touring class (at least before it was single fin.)

While sailing Voyager, I still wanted a 14 foot board from the racing class. I wanted a width of at least 26 inches, since all that is already purely a sport. And at 26-27 you can participate in races and go to marathons and just ride, even with a child on board.

I can only say the best in terms of build quality and driving performance. The board is very fast and yet very stable, allowing you to paddle with confidence both in calm water and in waves. For my time on the distance, 15 km, that I passed on the voyager, I brought 25 minutes.

The fin holds its course well and, no less important, almost does not cling to grass and debris.

What did not like on the board.

1. Not the most convenient cargo location in the bow, it is very small and close to the bow. I had to glue two rings closer to the center and the cargo became more convenient.

2. For me, it turned out that the handles for carrying the board and the sports start from the shore were not conveniently located. On the previous version of this board, the position of the handles was more convenient.

As a result, I will redo the handles as on the old version.

Wow!

I’ve never owned a race board before - I surf and have a touring paddle board but this was my first foray into anything with sustained speed and WOW! I can’t describe the feeling of this board’s glide other than to say that it just goes from the first paddle stroke. I’m thrilled to start taking this board on linger and longer treks considering the speed with which I can cover more water.

The experience from purchase to receipt to paddling has been unmatched with Red Paddle Co. Thank you for doing what you do!

Amazing Race Board!

This is my 3rd Red paddle board but my first experience on an inflatable race board. I couldn’t wait to get out on it and it didn’t disappoint. It is quick to inflate with the triple action pump to get out on the water, and then packed easily and neatly back into the wheelie bag once I’d finally exhausted myself out. The paddle is lightweight and I found it great to use and I especially love the fact that the fin comes with its own case to protect it once inside the bag. But the experience of being on the water was just amazing - it felt solid and sturdy but so quick to glide across the water once I found my stance and began to paddle. It’s even made me confident enough to join my local race club to improve my technique and I’m sure I’ll be entering SUP races soon on it!
