RSS Batten - Single with Velcro Tab

The Rocker Stiffening System battens make the board up to 40% stiffer. Here is our video and some tips on how to make working with your battens easier:

-Inflate board to 1-5psi when fitting or removing the batten.

- When fitting or removing the battens, put the board on its side and straddle it, either pulling the batten towards you into the pocket using the velcro tab or pulling it out of the pocket away from you.

-Use vaseline or silicon spray on the batten to act as a lubricant.

-Wet the batten, fit it in the pocket and leave the board inflated with the batten in for a few days to a week. This helps the batten to mould the shape of the pocket.
